Author, Advocate, Entrepreneur
Mother, Voice for Change

Autism Leap & Thrive CIC was founded by Elsie Rogers, a bestselling author, autism advocate, and entrepreneur with a heart for community transformation.

Through her lived experience as the mother of an autistic adult, Elsie has spent years championing inclusion, awareness, and empowerment for autistic people and their families.

Her journey - beautifully captured in her book ‘Autistic: Leaping Over Walls While Living with Autism’ - (which you can find on her website elsierogersofficial.com) has inspired audiences in the UK and abroad to see autism through a lens of strength,   possibility, and hope.

A respected speaker and trainer, Elsie partners with organisations such as A2ndvoice CIC and Avante Care & Support, leading workshops on cultural awareness, inclusive practice, and activity-based engagement for autistic adults.

Her initiatives have opened doors for meaningful conversations around race, representation, and neurodiversity within health, social care, and education sectors.

Autism Leap & Thrive CIC reflects Elsie’s vision: to build a safe, creative, and culturally inclusive space where autistic adults aged 18–30 can thrive through Saturday programmes, digital-skills sessions, creative arts, and community connection. She led the delivery of a Lifestyle Academy for Avante Care & Support, one of the largest residential care providers for the elderly in Kent, which transformed the way activities are delivered across 12 homes.

Her collaborative approach brought together teams across the organisation, enriching residents’ wellbeing and inspiring a culture of creativity, connection, and purpose.

Elsie also volunteered at a charity called “Charity Begins at Home" whilst working in the city of London. A volunteer-run charity that provides food, clothing, and support to homeless people, with a primary operation near Charing Cross Station in London. They have been active since 2016, serving meals and offering essentials every Friday evening.

“My mission is to show that autism is not a limitation — it’s a different way of seeing the world. Every voice deserves to be heard, every strength deserves to shine.”
